Our Associations and Values

Occasionally, because of volume of work or need for specific skillsets, we may need to boost the team on a particular assignment with additional resources. In establishing associations with independent “best of breeds” we have taken great care to build on existing relationships with people who have the same values, passion for success and attention to detail as ourselves. As a result we are able to offer the services of trusted colleagues with whom we work regularly.

Our values and the basis for doing business are:
* Passion for excellence
* Continuous development
* Independence
* Trust & respect

Passion for Excellence. This is the reason why ProjExc (short for Project Excellence) was formed. If our actions do not improve the success of business projects, then we will not take those actions. Our clients expect and deserve excellence, as do theirs.

Continuous Development. Can true excellence be attained? We believe that we should strive for it, but recognise that it is rare to find perfection. Is there a day when you don’t learn something new?

Independence. We want our advice and help to remain untainted. We maintain true independence from software tools, methodologies and trainers, so that we really can give the best advice to our clients with confidence.

Trust & Respect. We respect every individual we work with. By earning their respect we can develop relationships that deliver results that last.

ProjExc and our consultants are members of or work with a number of professional organisations, including:

Association for Project Management (APM)
– the UK based chartered body for the project profession.

The Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET)
– working to engineer a better world

Project Management Institute (PMI)
– the US based association for the project profession

Rail Alliance
– at the heart of the rail supply chain

TheTeamThatCan
– independent consultants working together

The Technology Supply Chain
– for manufacturing , engineering and technology companies and those who work with them
